SEG-Y Editor

The TraceEdit module allows the user to view and edit the main and binary headers, trace headers and individual traces of  SEG-Y files.

The trace header values for all the traces in the file can be viewed in tabular form and as a graph, and they can be modified using a number of mathematical operations.

The trace samples can be viewed both as numbers and as curves and individual traces can be edited. This is useful when there are bad sample values in the dataset that need to be corrected. Traces can be modified visually either by using the mouse to change individual samples or automatically by using the samples of the neighbouring traces.

A subset of the data can be output to a SEG-Y file with the same or different sample rate.
