Recommended System
While you can run SEISMASTER®
with the minimum requirements listed
above, we recommend that you run it on a computer that meets or exceeds the
requirements below:
Processor
Pentium IV 2.0 GHz, Ultra Sparc
or PowerMac G5
System Memory 1.0 GB
or more,
128 MB Video RAM
Monitor/Display
19” Dual Monitors, 1280
x 1024 resolution
Hardware requirements are
determined by the size of the data and the expected performance.
Example
A seismic volume with a size of 1005 in-lines x
1953 cross-lines x 1000 samples (4 byte data) totaling
8.1 GB has been
viewed with acceptable performance on a development PC with an AMD Athlon XP1900+ processor
(1.61 GHz), 1.0 GB RAM and a RADEON
8500 Graphics card with 64 MB Video RAM, and on a DELL Inspiron 8200 Laptop with similar
configuration, both running Windows XP.
